The world demands more from us—to be more productive, innovative, intelligent, and efficient, dedicating ourselves to our companies, communities, and even countries. But it’s not just the world that wants more; we humans crave more, too: more happiness, prosperity, success, time, love, attention, health, and opportunity.

Wanting more isn’t a bad thing—it’s natural. Humans are biologically wired to grow and evolve, driven by curiosity to explore meaningful values and needs. Once we satisfy material desires like fame, recognition, and financial freedom, we naturally seek higher pursuits: freedom, love, leisure, contribution, and peace.

But as technology has progressed at lightning speed, humans have adapted to keep pace. We’ve stretched ourselves, becoming increasingly robotic in our work and lives. I was one of those people, unknowingly pushing myself to work like a machine—until my body shut down twice.

Humans are not designed to compete with robots. We thrive when we fully discover, express, and experience our creativity, intelligence, and emotional depth. Competing with machines is as futile as asking a fish to fly better than a bird. It isn’t very meaningful. Instead, we should embrace what makes us unique and use technology to enhance—not replace—our humanity.

The Era of Superb Humans

We are entering an exciting time when technology can enable us to live superbly as humans—not as robots but as beings fully expressing our potential.

Living superbly human means achieving your goals and thriving uniquely, regardless of circumstances. It’s about excelling in creativity, intelligence, and emotional engagement to advance meaningful ideas and improve every facet of human life.

Only 1% of the world’s population lives as superb humans. Why can’t the other 99%? The answer lies in how we spend our time. Many of us are consumed by tasks that don’t stimulate our minds or bodies to reach their full potential. The repetitive, industrial-style work that dominated the last 265 years is the enemy of human flourishing.

Thankfully, technology has matured. AI excels at handling time-consuming, repetitive tasks, freeing humans to focus on what truly matters. This creates the space for people to enter FLOW states more frequently, where they can fully show up, perform at their best, and achieve audacious goals.

How AI and FLOW Create Superb Humans

Humans and AI excel in different arenas. While AI excels in data processing and analysis, humans excel in creativity, emotional intelligence, and physical expression. When AI takes on the heavy lifting, it liberates humans to prioritise their strengths.

Imagine a designer working on a groundbreaking project. AI handles tedious tasks, such as market research or initial drafts, allowing designers to dive deeper into their creative process. The result? Innovative designs that redefine industry standards.

Or consider a busy executive managing multiple priorities. AI organises its schedule, predicts bottlenecks, and prioritises tasks based on focus capacity. This streamlined environment enables executives to operate in a state of flow, delivering peak performance without burnout.

By eliminating distractions and repetitive tasks, AI enables humans to enter a state of FLOW, an environment where they effortlessly overcome challenges and unlock their full potential. Together, AI and FLOW create an environment where humans can excel superbly.

How Superb Humans Create Superb Teams

Individual excellence is powerful, but teams operating in a state of FLOW can achieve exponential results. AI ensures team alignment by tracking progress, predicting potential bottlenecks, and providing real-time updates.

Take a global marketing team managing a high-stakes product launch. AI-driven project management tools enable seamless collaboration, allowing team members to focus on their strengths and expertise. With AI handling logistics, the team operates as a cohesive unit, achieving results that surpass expectations.

Beyond logistics, AI supports teams by understanding natural rhythms, balancing workloads, and suggesting optimal break times. This alignment ensures that every member can stay in FLOW, creating a ripple effect of productivity and innovation.

AI and FLOW: Allies in Human Advancement

Adapting to AI isn’t about changing who we are but integrating technology into our natural workflows. Resistance disappears when AI complements human behaviour, and FLOW becomes second nature.

Imagine a teacher preparing lesson plans. AI suggests personalised approaches for different students, analyses classroom dynamics, and identifies potential challenges. With these insights, the teacher can focus on delivering impactful lessons and fostering student creativity.

When AI aligns with human experiences, it becomes an extension of our natural abilities, enabling us to work smarter and live fuller. It’s not about doing more; it’s about being more—more human and more superb.

2025: The Era of Superb Humans Begins

We are at the dawn of exponential transformation, and to embrace this advancement, the question isn't whether to become more human or superhuman—it's how far we're willing to go to realise our full capabilities and redefine what's possible.

What is FLOW?

FLOW is a state of optimal performance where focus, creativity, and productivity converge effortlessly. It’s that moment when you’re fully immersed in an activity, time seems to fly, and everything aligns seamlessly.

First studied by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, FLOW occurs when challenges match skills, pushing you to perform at your best without overwhelming you. Athletes call it “the zone,” while creatives describe it as “in the groove.”

Why does FLOW matter?

Because it’s not just about feeling good—it’s about unlocking your full potential. In FLOW, you’re more productive, creative, and resilient, achieving breakthroughs that were once out of reach. And now, with AI taking care of mundane tasks, reaching FLOW is easier than ever.
